Just finished

It was a good one. The ending wasn't that surprising, considering the numerous unwanted hints to which I was subjected. I had, unfortunately, already been built up to expect something of that nature. Although, I had actually put my money on it being someone else, so in a way, that the closing gathering honored that particular character was somewhat less unfathomable... or dare I say, more acceptable ... even appropriate.

Oh, and Kreature is a riot.

We will definately have to get two copies of book seven because I don't think I will be able to wait any time at all after its release to read it.

I have trouble believing that he's really dead. It may be a little Lord of the Rings-ish but I don't think it's a coincidence that the first potion Harry makes this year is the Draught of Living Death. Still Rowling makes it quite clear that no one has ever survived Avada Kedavra besides Harry.
Likewise I think there is still more to Snape than we've seen so far. I don't think it will be as simple as black or white with him. At least I hope not, Dumbledore didn't seem the type to be so horrible a judge of a person's character.
