verizon blows goats

I don't have photographic proof, but I do have a lot of circumstantial evidence.

Basically my new Motorola v710 is not as cool as it could be, because verizon crippled the firmware, in the name of protecting me from harm. It's completely coincidental that they stand to benefit from paid services they offer to replace the [free] functionality they've disabled, such as Bluetooth transfers between devices, and easy file transfer from transflash cards. (someone please explain how the latter protects ANYTHING other than their bottom line!!!)

It seems that they are further crippling it with new firmware releases. Thankfully, some resourceful individuals have reenabled many locked out features by hacking the firmware. I now have a USB cable for the v710 (bought for 2 cents on ebay) and I will soon be modifying my phone as well.
