... or rather I hit someone who was running a red light. I was going through a large intersection a little over a hour ago, when I struck an older camaro which was running the red. We hit the camaro on the driver's side door which was pretty well smashed in. The good news is that there were no injuries. Everyone was wearing their seatbelts and I was able to slow down slightly in the half-second after the car appeared in front of us until I hit it, so no air bags deployed or anything like that.

The damage to our VUE does not look extensive; but at least the hood, both headlights and turn signals, the front plastic cover, front bumper cover, as well as both front quarter panels will have to be replaced.

Some loser in a black Chevy Avalanche tried to run me off the road on the way home tonight. I was already going a few mph over the limit, but he crossed a double yellow line and started to overtake me, and then came back into my lane before he was even past me. I braked and swervered just in time to avoid him hitting me. Pissed me off, but mostly scared the shit out of me. So I followed him and watched him park and go into a store. I took down his license plate number and called the police. They told me they were going to go check him out, and I hope they did!
