New pc debate rages on

I've been up in the air for weeks. I have everything about my new computer spec'ed out and I'm ready to order it, except for the motherboard. (what a minor concern really, kind of an afterthougheryish component for sure). I can say that I've ruled out the NF4 SLI boards. Here's why:
-Questionable support in Linux.
-Questionable support in windows. (not that I care, but worth mentioning that I've heard of problems)
-Cost.
-I like to drive my car. Fast.

My latest plan is to give up my dreams of the quasi-vapourwarian Asus A8N-E and go for the MSI Neo4 Platinum instead.

Chances are it is cheaper than the A8N-E will be, if it's even released, and the MSI is available NOW. I definately know I want an NF4 Ultra board, I just wish I had more options. Right now it is either Foxconn, Chaintech or MSI and the only one I'd even consider is the MSI; so, so much for choice.

UPDATE:
Just found a DFI NF4 ultra board that sounds pretty cool, PLUS it has one more x16 pcie slot than the MSI, and it has NO PARALLEL OR SERIAL ports! I'm all about leaving the past in the past so I would say this board is now my front-runner.
